Sunday Morning Worship Service:
Marks of Spiritual Maturity: Service
MESSAGE RECAP: Serving others is a mark of spiritual maturity. We are created and gifted to serve. We serve because Jesus is our example. We should be excited when we serve God because it gives us fulfillment and purpose. We should never retire from serving others. If you want to be like Jesus, serve others.

APPLICATION/REFLECTION:
- How has our culture told us it’s more important to take care of ourselves and not look out for and serve others?
- Jesus said in Acts 20:35: “It’s more blessed to give than to receive.” How have you seen this demonstrated in your own life?
- Serving others is messy and takes time and commitment. Knowing this, why is it still important to serve others even though it will require a sacrifice on our part?
- Read 1 Peter 4:10-11. Our church missions statement says, “Worship God. Serve Others.” How can we serve others in our church and community?
