Sunday Morning Worship Service:
Church Together: Bearing With One Another
MESSAGE RECAP:
Ephesians 4:1-3 says, “…Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
As Christians we are to show forbearance: meaning we should (1) be kind and gentle with others, (2) hold back from retaliation and bitterness from those who hurt us, and (3) strive to live at peace with others (Romans 12:18).
APPLICATION/REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

APPLICATION/REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
- We should show tolerance for one another as Christians. But today, the world defines tolerance differently from what the Bible says. What are these differences? How can we help others see that we as Christians can not give sin a pass while not coming across as arrogant and judgmental?
- The fruit of the Spirit is a “bunch” of fruit and a Christian should demonstrate each one of these in their lives as the Spirit directs. Share which one(s) are more difficult for you and why this is the case.
- How would you approach resolving conflict or a broken relationship with another Christian? (What does the Bible say?)
- *Leader: Only ask this question as a wrap up challenge for individual members to think about privately (unless they prefer to share with the group). Is there any relationship in your life which needs restoration? Pray about it and make a plan to talk with the person.
