If we follow Jesus, we should grow spiritually. We have already been declared righteous (justification) and set apart for holiness (positional sanctification) so now we grow in our relationship with Him (progressive sanctification). Spiritual growth requires faith in Jesus, discipline, relationship, and honesty.
  1. Faith: Have you ever put into words why you believe in Jesus? Write down your testimony and how you’ve been changed by the gospel and practice sharing it with another believer.
  2. Discipline: Read Philippians 2:12-16. God gives us the desire and the power to do what pleases him. What routine do you have to maintain that relationship with Him?
  3. Relationship: How are you connecting with your church family? Is there somewhere you can be connecting or serving? Click here for a list of service opportunities at MGBC.
  4. Honesty: Read about the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. Where do you see fruit in your walk with Jesus? Where can you pray for improvement?
