"Open the Eyes of My Heart" by Paul Baloche
In Paul's prayer in Ephesians 1, he prays that his readers would have "the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints" (Eph. 1:18). In other words, Paul's desire for believers was that they would allow the Spirit to open the "eyes of our hearts" so that we can clearly see Jesus and the good news. Likewise, this song is a prayer for the same thing. If we truly see Him as He is - exalted over all things - our response has to be worship! "Holy, holy, holy" is the same song of worship that is sung in Revelation 4. God is holy - set apart - and His perfect nature is displayed as we repeat the word 3 times. Take some time to listen to this song again and use this song as your prayer. Pick out your favorite lyric from this song and share with somebody (in person or online) why this lyric encourages you.
