Joseph dealt with several “curveballs” in life, but he remained faithful to God. After experiencing the heartache of being sold as a slave by his brothers, Joseph was able to advance in Potiphar’s household. However, when Potiphar’s wife tries to seduce Joseph, and he refuses her advances, he runs from the temptation. But by making the godly choice, he was falsely accused of a crime he did not commit and is thrown in jail. This seems completely unfair. But no matter what comes in life we must be faithful and rely on God’s help amidst the struggles of life just like Joseph did.
