Sunday Morning Worship Service:
MESSAGE RECAP
Our topic from Romans 14 this week is Christian preferences - areas of life where Christians may come to different conclusions. Romans 14:1 says we should not “quarrel over opinions”. We are not to despise those with whom we disagree. We are not to judge one another. We are to love others instead. We will all give an account to the Lord one day in how we handled our differences with others. (Romans 14:12) We are to build up each other in love. (Romans 14:19)

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
- What are some “gray areas” we struggle with in the church? Do you ever remember a time where you were not given grace concerning a “gray area” in life? How did you feel about that?
- How should we respond when another Christian clearly has a different opinion concerning a preference not spelled out in the Bible?
- Why is legalism so destructive?
- How are we able to show love to others who have different preferences than us? How should we properly handle disagreements?
